Congratulations!
Select Security would like to pass on its congratulations to Jonathan Smith, Contracts Manager, on successfully obtaining a 2.1 in his BSc (Hons) Risk and Security Management degree with the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at the University of Portsmouth.
When asked for a comment regarding this landmark achievement Jonathan said “My dissertation was on professionalism within private armed security and the private security industry as a whole which is something that we at Select Security believe is the future for our industry. I would also like to thank the company for giving me the support they have which enabled me to successfully complete my degree.”
As for any future plans Jonathan said “I want to concentrate on vocational development for the next 12-18months and then I will look to start my Masters; as a professional manager working for a professional company the continued professional development concept must be embraced and I am pleased to say that Select Security are fully committed to this concept.”
