Liverpool Airport Taxi Rank
We are pleased to announce that Select Security have been appointed to supply taxi marshals’ to the taxi rank at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport. This is an addition to the security we already provide at the airport.
Dave Potts explains, ‘The main emphasis on the taxi rank is making the passenger experience as smooth as possible, so that passengers getting off planes can get to their onward location as swiftly and safely as possible. The rank at the airport is extremely busy and our officers are kept on their toes. They have already developed a great rapport with the drivers’.
All our officers have received training in taxi licensing and have formed a code of conduct that has been agreed with the taxi drivers and the airport management. We have a close liaison with the Liverpool Taxi Licensing Unit, and our officers regularly pass on details of any infringements of regulations.
